Hospitality staff preparing the venue for service

A practical path to readiness.

  1. Confirm the business fit

Identify the country, venue type and first service flow. Separate a current supported need from a future requirement.

  2. Review the complete arrangement

Understand the applicable pricing, setup responsibilities, payment methods and settlement conditions. Confirm the information required for onboarding.

  3. Configure the supported flow

Establish the account, POS connection where applicable, QR destinations and the relevant bill or menu behavior.

  4. Prepare the team

Show staff how to explain the guest journey, check payment status and respond to common questions. Assign an operating owner.

  5. Verify one complete service journey

Test the supported guest flow and corresponding staff view together. Resolve unexpected results before introducing the experience to live service.

Who should join the setup conversation?

The operating owner

Someone who knows the service model, how the bill is created and what staff need to do when the venue is busy.

The system owner

Someone who can confirm the POS configuration and provide the appropriate account permissions through the agreed process.

The commercial contact

Someone who can review the offer, onboarding information and the finance or reconciliation needs.

Before the first guest scans.

  • The QR opens the intended venue and service context.
  • The guest can understand the bill and total.
  • The available payment choices match the agreed setup.
  • Staff can find and interpret the corresponding status.
  • There is an assisted route when a guest needs help.
  • The operating team knows the support contact and required references.

Keep the first shift observable.

Assign a person who can answer team questions, review unclear payment results and gather specific feedback. Record the bill reference, the step where the issue appeared and what the team saw. Avoid sharing sensitive payment details in ordinary messages.
